Service
Faring is a travel planning platform that provides visa access visualization, trip planning, and booking links. The service is available via web at faring.app and as a mobile application.
Accounts
You need an account to save passport selections, track visited countries, plan trips, and connect with friends. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Subscriptions
Faring offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro unlocks additional passports, multi-country trips, and unlimited friend connections. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
Visa data disclaimer
Visa requirement data is sourced from IATA and other public sources. This data is informational only and should not be treated as legal or immigration advice. Requirements change frequently. Always verify visa requirements with the destination country's embassy or consulate before traveling. Faring is not liable for denied entry, missed flights, or other consequences of relying on this data.
Affiliate links
Faring earns commissions from booking partners when you click affiliate links and complete a purchase on a partner site. These links are clearly presented as booking options. Your transaction is between you and the partner. Faring is not a party to bookings made through affiliate links and is not responsible for the products or services provided by partners.
User content
You retain ownership of content you create (trip plans, notes, profile information). By using Faring, you grant us a license to store and display this content as part of the service (for example, showing your profile to friends you connect with).
Limitation of liability
Faring is provided as-is without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, reliance on visa data, or interactions with affiliate partners. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Faring after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
