Privacy Policy

What we collect
When you create an account, we store your email address, display name, and profile information you provide. We store your passport selections, visited countries, bucket list, trip plans, and friend connections in our database. We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Passport data privacy
Your passport selections are private. Friends cannot see which passports you hold. Public profiles display visited countries and bucket list destinations only. Passport data is never included in shareable content, social previews, or OG images.
Authentication
We use passwordless magic link authentication via email. We do not store passwords. Authentication is handled by Supabase, which processes your email address to send sign-in links.
Payments
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy and PCI compliance.
Affiliate links
Country and trip pages include affiliate booking links (flights, hotels, eSIM, insurance, transfers). When you click these links, we log the click (anonymously or tied to your account) for revenue tracking. The booking happens on the third-party partner site under their terms.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage to persist UI preferences (completion bar mode, passport preview state). We use Supabase session cookies for authentication. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
Data hosting
Your data is stored on Supabase (Postgres database hosted on AWS). Visa requirement data is sourced from IATA and updated periodically. We do not guarantee the accuracy of visa data and it should not be treated as legal advice.
Data deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, we remove your profile, passport selections, visited countries, bucket list, trips, and friend connections.
